A graduate of Otago University, following three years at Auckland Hospital Marcus joined Remuera Medical Centre 30 years ago. He has a special interest in skin problems and has a post graduate diploma in dermatology.
Outside the practice he enjoys golf, running and spending time with his family.
Dr Marcus works on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday.

Dr Cathy Ferguson joined Remuera Medical Centre in 2007 and prior to this worked in Glenfield, North Shore for many years in her own practice.
She has an interest in all aspects of general practice, especially women’s health and paediatrics, and enjoys the continuity of care that general practice offers.
Dr Cathy lives in Remuera with her husband and has two sons.

After completing his medical degree, he worked as a junior doctor in Derbyshire, and completed his GP training in Essex, he went on to work as a GP in both the UK and New Zealand, before getting his NZ Fellowship (FRNZCGP) and working full time in Auckland. His specialist interests within General Practice are mental health, musculoskeletal problems, joint injections and cholesterol management. After working in both the North and South Islands, he has now settled in Auckland and lives in Parnell.

Megan was born in South Africa and immigrated with her family in 2007. She studied Health Science at the University of Otago, then went on to complete her Bachelor of Nursing at Otago Polytechnic in 2017.
Since graduation she has worked in a variety of medical settings including hospital assessment diagnostic units, A&E and GP services. Before joining the team at RMC she assisted in the Covid-19 border response at Auckland International alongside the Ministry of Health.
She has returned to primary healthcare to complete her postgraduate Diploma in Advancing Nursing Practice.
In her spare time she likes to get involved in music, arts and nature.
