MB ChB, FRNZCGP, Dip Derm.

A graduate of Otago University, following three years at Auckland Hospital. Marcus joined Remuera Medical Centre over 30 years ago and has since become a landmark figure in Remuera healthcare. He has a special interest in skin problems and has a post graduate diploma in dermatology.

Outside the practice, he is a keen golfer, and enjoys running and spending time with his family.

Dr Marcus works on Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday.

MBBS, MRCGP, DRCOG, PgDipDerm

Dr Remi was born in Tokyo and raised in Spain. She studied medicine in London and worked across various parts of the UK before completing her GP specialist training in 2013. In recent years, she has also gained professional experience in both Ireland and Spain. She has a strong passion for general practice, particularly in areas such as health education, prevention, and the management of chronic conditions. In the UK, she also served as a GP supervisor, mentoring medical students and junior doctors.

Her love for travel has brought her to New Zealand, where she is excited to further expand her clinical knowledge while exploring the country. Outside of work, she enjoys ballet, contemporary dance, and gym training.

Dr Remi works on Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday & Friday.

Dr Rory grew up in the south of England. His first degree was in Artificial Intelligence & Software Engineering, and he worked in mobile telecoms before retraining in Medicine.

After completing his medical degree, he worked as a junior doctor in Derbyshire, and completed his GP training in Essex, he went on to work as a GP in both the UK and New Zealand, before getting his NZ Fellowship (FRNZCGP) and working full time in Auckland. His specialist interests within General Practice are mental health, musculoskeletal problems, joint injections and cholesterol management. After working in both the North and South Islands, he has now settled in Auckland and lives in Parnell.

Dr Rory works on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday & Friday.

Dr Nick Anto joined Remuera Medical Centre in January 2023. Dr Anto studied medicine by the south coast of England, followed by further training at hospitals and clinics in Oxford and East London. After 10 years in the UK, he has crossed the pond to experience life in New Zealand, and join the team here at Remuera. He enjoys all aspects of General Practice, and looks forward to making a positive impact at the clinic and in the community.

Dr Anto works on Mondays, Tuesdays & Wednesday.

BSc, MSc, (Honours), MBChB, Dip Paeds

Dr Katherine grew up in South Africa and immigrated to New Zealand with her family after high school. She previously worked as a Medical Physicist before retraining in medicine, graduating from The University of Auckland. She enjoys all aspects of general practice especially primary prevention, women's health and paediatrics. Outside of medicine, she enjoys ocean swimming, hiking and exploring the natural beauty of New Zealand.

Having previously worked in general practice in South Auckland, she joined Remuera Medical Centre in February 2024. She works Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays.
